We visited Neighbourhood Networks at their office in Govan to deliver our Human Rights training to their team. It was a really interesting session for us as we got to hear about how human rights plays a part in the work Neighbourhood Networks does every day with their communities.

We looked at our existing ideas around human rights and looked at areas where human rights are not always upheld, and what we can do in our work to challenge that.

In the afternoon we supported Neighbourhood Networks to write their own human rights charter, and made it into a handy video format using Biteable!

We had some great feedback from the session, including:

‘I now feel empowered to use a human rights approach in my work’

‘I realised the importance of maintaining and advocating on human rights’

‘The video making was a great educational tool!’
