East Renfrewshire Equalities Forum Planning Days

We have been working with community groups, organisations, and service providers across East Renfrewshire to encourage and support local people to participate in the new Equalities Forum.

We held 3 community events in East Renfrewshire in November and December to bring people together to discuss how a forum could work. You can find out how these went and the notes on our website: Open Day Notes

We will be holding two planning days in Barrhead and Clarkston to discuss the next stage of the forum:

  • Thursday 25th January, Barrhead Foundry, 10am – 12:30pm
  • Monday 5th February, Clarkston Hall, 10am – 12:30pm

Please do join us at one our in-person planning days to:

  • Create the Terms of Reference
  • Define membership
  • Set up a structure & processes for how the forum will operate
  • Agree key actions

To help us plan discussion groups and catering, places must be booked in advance: Register on Eventbrite now.

Once we have a group of interested people, we will help them to establish the forum, providing training, support, and advice.
