LINKS Multiply funding success
We are very pleased to announce that Outside the Box has been successful with Multiply funding to support the delivery of adult cooking classes through our LINKS Eyemouth project.
These classes will offer people who feel less confident using numbers in their lives the chance to gain more confidence with numeracy through cooking in a supportive and sociable setting.
We will be running a total of three blocks of 8 sessions per block over the next 16 months. Places will be on a first come, first served basis. The first block begins on Wednesday 6 December, at Eyemouth Community Centre.
Over the 8 classes we will make delicious, nutritious easy to make meals on a budget. We will double up recipes to batch cook, convert recipes into other units, slow cook and much more. Each week participants will take home a recipe bag to make again at home.
We are very excited about starting the course and can’t wait to meet some old – and new – faces!
We have created a new booklet all about the project, its latest activities and plans for the future. You can find it here: LINKS Eyemouth booklet
