Are you looking for a way to find out more about your community? Do you live in East Renfrewshire and want to get to know more people who live where you do? Why not become a Local People Linking community reporter?

Local People Linking is a new our new project in East Renfrewshire that gets information out to older people, families and friends about good activities happening in their area that support older people, including people with dementia and other health problems. We want a Community Reporters Team to help spread the word. We need people of all ages, including older people themselves who want to see older people enjoy lots of different activities to enjoy life.

Outside the Box Development Support provides training, advice and on-going assistance to people from communities in Scotland who want to make changes. It gives practical support and enables people to learn the types of skills that are important both for establishing new ventures and for sustaining them.
