My name is Rahmah Aslan and recently I have joined Outside the Box as an intern. My internship is part of the Minority Ethnic Emerging Leaders Programme. This programme is a professional and personal development opportunity for ethnic minority backgrounds across Scotland and is hosted by the John Smith Centre. Its aims for the participants are to develop their workplace skills and get an insight of a career in the public service.

I am currently in my second year at university studying LLB Law and I have a major interest in human rights law. Through my internship with Outside the Box, I hope I will gain and develop many of my skills and knowledge and also share them with others. I am looking forward to working with the amazing and very welcoming team at Outside the Box.
