The Intergenerational National Network is an informal network, open to anyone across Scotland (and further afield) who has an interest in intergenerational practice. Meeting three to five times a year, people come both as individuals and from a wide range of organisations and backgrounds & bring a great variety of interests, such as history and heritage; arts and culture; community safety; gardening; lifelong learning; and health and well-being.
The next INN meet up will be on the morning of Thursday 6th October and will be held in Perth, hosted by the Perth and Kinross Association of Voluntary Service (PKAVS). The theme will be supporting the mental health and wellbeing of people in rural areas & we’ll be hearing from Anne Connor from Outside the Box who will be talking about current and recent projects that are encouraging conversations about what mental health and wellbeing mean for older people and practical ways to support this. We will also hear from Donna Murray Trail who will talk about the work of the Care and Wellbeing Co-operative.
The morning will start with coffee at 10am and will finish with lunch about 12.30pm
The meeting is free and open to anyone with an interest in the subject matter, and who would like to meet others involved – please share the event amongst your networks and with anyone you think may be interested
