Community justice is important. It’s something a lot of groups and organisations we work with feel strongly about. But sometimes, when we feel so passionately about what we are doing, it can be hard to take a step back and really evaluate the way we work.

Does the community justice work you do help people in the best way possible? Are there ways you could be improving the way you do things? Now, you can get help to answer these questions by using the Care Inspectorate’s new handy guide for self-evaluation for community justice in Scotland. The Scottish Government commissioned the Care Inspectorate to develop the guide so it can be used by partners to help them improve their services.

The guide covers everything from looking at key performance outcomes, meeting the needs of stakeholders and managing and supporting staff and a lot more. The guide is free and can be viewed here.
