It’s World Mental Health Day, and we’d thought we’d remind you of a resource we put together to help people with mental health issues meet new people and find friends. Finding things to do to get you out and meeting people can be tough. Not everyone is outgoing and confident. If you have a mental health problem this can be even harder and it can be tempting to stay at home. But spending time with friends and trying new low-pressure activities can help you to feel better and less isolated. You can find tips and ideas for things to try and ways to stay connected in our Finding Friends and Coping OK with Loneliness booklet– we hope it is helpful for you. Please share it with anyone you think might find it useful, and send us your own suggestions too!
