This is an update for people who have taken part in or supported the Borders Buddies project in Tweeddale over the last months. As you may know, this project was kindly funded by Scottish Borders Council Community Fund for one year. Although this funding stream has now ended, we have a few offshoots and partnership projects happening in the meantime. We are also hoping to extend the project if we are successful with a new funding bid, so watch this space!

Pottery sessions
Rosie the Mindful Potter is offering a couple of free pottery sessions, come along and throw a pot! Contact Ruth for details.

Families and Mums
We have been hearing from mums and families about the challenges and issues they face, especially during Covid. Our plans are to keep in touch and hopefully to find funding to help address some of these issues locally. Some families have benefitted from Borders Buddies – especially supporting young adults. We also have a ‘Borders Families Wellbeing’ Facebook group for sharing of local free events and things of interest for families.

Organised by others
