At Outside the Box, as our regular ways of working and living continue to change, we have been looking at how communities are adapting and supporting one another.

The COVID 19 pandemic has meant that we have had to adapt quickly to new ways of working and supporting each other and to seek new solutions to how we support people and also keep ourselves safe.

We have been hearing stories from all across the UK- from our staff team and from news reports, of the different ways people are helping each other. Often these are everyday activities such as shopping, making meals, helping out and keeping in contact with people.

We think it is important to record positive stories and examples of what works well so that we can share the ideas and learning with people, communities, and others to help each other now and in the future.

So we want to hear from you! We want to hear about any examples of good things people are doing- across all backgrounds, circumstances and locations.

We are particularly interested in hearing from equalities groups, LGBTQ groups and organisations, BAME communities, young people with experience of care and people whose first language isn’t English. You can share your stories with us by emailing ciara@otbds.org, tweeting us at @OTBcommunities, or dropping us a message on Facebook at OTBDevelopment
