As the summer holidays approach, it can feel like everyone is excited about sunny days and trips to the beach, but if you are struggling with your mental health it might not feel so simple! Sometimes nicer weather and being able to get out and  about more can improve our mental health but sometimes if you’re not feeling great the pressure to be out having fun in the sun might not help. We worked with families across Scotland to produce these hints and tips for families who have parents or teenagers who have poor mental health. The tips are designed to help families find ways to cope and to support one another and you can read them here.
