Started 2012 and earlier. We work with people who are changing things, or want to improve things, in their lives and their communities. Some of the people we work with are living with range of complex issues and difficult experiences that affect their everyday lives and how they live their lives.

Older People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Active
Started 2018. Outside the Box is working with a wide range of older people and organisations to find ways for older people to get good support for their mental health and wellbeing. These conversations have been going on over several years and we expect they will continue. We've brought together these conversations in the form of a long report and a summary report- we hope you will find them useful.

Flourishing Borders
Started 2016. We are working with local community groups and other partners across Scottish Borders to raise awareness about how older people and manage their mental health and wellbeing.

Belly Dancing in Care Homes
Started 2015. A pilot project to help people in care homes have more fun and get more exercise through belly dancing. Being physically active is a challenge for many people as they get older. People who live in care homes face even higher risks of falls and significant health problems and even fewer connections with their communities as a result.
