Friends Group Active
Started 2017. The Friends Group is a peer support group for people in Falkirk who have learning difficulties. The group meets weekly on Fridays from 11 am - 1 pm. Each week the group does a different activities and spend some time having a cup of tea and a catch up. The group is open to anyone living in Falkirk, or the surrounding area, who has learning difficulties. Carers are also welcome to attend to support people at the sessions.

Housing Owls Active
Started 2017. Outside the Box is working with Falkirk Council and the Make It Happen Forum to provide peer to peer housing information source to Falkirk. Trained older volunteers will chat to people about matters related to housing that older people feel are relevant to them. They will share housing information using tools developed by older people for older people and information provided by partners.

Money Owls
Started 2017. Money Owls is a project about increasing older people’s confidence to deal with their own money matters. We want to do this by building a team of volunteers to raise awareness amongst older people around money and money issues. Older people have told us they would like better and clearer information about money, managing money and where to get help and advice.

Older People and Alcohol
Started 2015. Raising awareness and practical tips on how to enjoy a drink and stay safe as we get older. Most older people have enjoyed a drink and known how to keep well throughout their adult lives. But as we get older it becomes more tricky to find the best balance.
