Health Inequalities CPG Parliamentary Reception

Freya recently attended the Health Inequalities Cross Party Group Parliamentary Reception on 27th September.

The event was sponsored by Brian Whittle MSP, Co-Convenor of the CPG and took place in the Scottish Parliament Garden Lobby.

The secretariat, Voluntary Health Scotland, the national intermediary and network for Scotland’s voluntary health organisations, hosted with guest speaker Dr Peter Cawston.

This reception was the first in person reception since 2019 and it was a great night to catch up and chat with people from across the third sector and beyond.

Guests also had the opportunity to chat and meet with the invited stall holders to find out more about their work happening across Scotland to help tackle health inequalities.

Overall it was a fantastic evening full of inspiring conversation and presentations.
