Friends group
Started 2017. The Friends Group is a peer support group for people in Falkirk who have learning difficulties. The group meets weekly on Fridays from 11 am - 1 pm. Each week the group does a different activities and spend some time having a cup of tea and a catch up. The group is open to anyone living in Falkirk, or the surrounding area, who has learning difficulties. Carers are also welcome to attend to support people at the sessions.

Getting There
Started 2012 and earlier. A project exploring what self directed support (SDS) means for smaller user-led organisations, bringing together materials and resources, ideas and projects from user led organisations from across Scotland and further afield.

Over the Fence
Started 2013. Over the Fence has developed a website to give people who are new to social care information about how to get the support they want. The project began in 2011 and is funded by the Scottish Government as part of the programme to develop the capacity of people who use services and her families as part of the implementation of Self-directed support.

Wisdom in Practice
Started 2012 and earlier. Wisdom in Practice was a project which aimed to build on the skills, knowledge and confidence of older people, to enable you to start or develop services that are led by older people. It worked with older people across Scotland to make a difference to the opportunities and services people can use.
