Alzheimer Scotland and Angus Health & Social Care Partnership graciously hosted the Dementia Fayre held at Brechin Community Campus yesterday, Tuesday 30th May, one of a series of Dementia Fayres being held around the Angus area as part of Dementia Awareness Week.

We enjoyed having conversations with different people throughout the day, which highlighted the need for more connected and community based approaches in making rural communities age-friendly.

Thanks to the event organisers for looking after us and their help with putting up our new banner! It was great to have a chance to talk about our Rural Wisdom project and the work we’ll be doing with older people in rural areas.
